ENG 2070: INTERMEDIATE WRITING
In this undergraduate course, students work on developing mastery of the rhetorical principles of planning, executing and revising prose.
This course emphasizes strengthening analytical writing, both expository and argumentative.
This section emphasizes blending research-based facts and personal experience to craft meaningful prose to inform, educate, and persuade a variety of audiences. Students analyze a selection of nonfiction texts to understand how distinct aspects of rhetoric like kairos, pathos, logos, and ethos come together in a text.
