"I definitely learned how to think more critically as a writer. She really encouraged us to do that with class discussions she lead/guided the discussion but really gave us a space to communicate with each other and try to work out and understand for ourselves. It was necessary and really helpful for us to break down the different topics we covered. We discussed a lot of heavy things that had many layers and discussion was very much needed....I think we all benefited from that as students, writers, and just as people in general!"
